The Munich Eichenried Golf Complex is one of the few German golf courses with a high national profile. Since 1989, Munich Eichenried has been host to the prestigious BMW International Open, which attracts some 60,000 spectators and media representatives from all over the world every year. All in all, the keen and competitive golfer can choose from three 9-hole loops located on the outskirts of Munich, all of which end at the clubhouse and are playable in different combinations. The 27 very varied fairways with numerous water hazards were designed by the renowned golf course architect Kurt Roßknecht.

Location
The Munich Eichenried Golf Complex is so popular not least thanks to the ease of approach and its proximity to the city of Munich. The Golf Complex is situated northeast of Munich, only 20 km from the city centre, about 10 km from Erding, well-known for its thermal springs. Munich Airport is also a mere 11 kilometres away.

Getting there:
follow the A9 Autobahn München – Nürnberg,
take the Garching Süd Exit,
pick up B471 and follow signs for Ismaning,
then take B388 and follow signs for Erding.
You’ll find the golf course just on the edge of Eichenried.
