27-Hole Championship Course

A total of 27 fairways and greens offer a large number of playing options.

Since June 2002, Eichenried has offered three 9-hole loops, all ending conveniently at the clubhouse, and playable in different combinations. The course extension was designed by Kurt Roßknecht, who had already laid out the “old“ championship course, venue for the BMW International Open since 1989.

The terrain covers a total of 1.35 million sq metres, its fairways are all long and flat, boasting both old and mature trees and a large number of water hazards – brooks as well as ponds edged with dry stone walls to make the approach to the greens more difficult. Over the years, a number of new bunkers have been added, and the course has been adapted continually to the latest standards (irrigation system, undulated greens, etc). All in all, the course, which is always in outstanding condition, calls for both technical and tactical versatility in golfing.
